Frequently Asked Questions

How often are you successful?

Over the past five years we have been successful in reducing client assessments over 90% of the time. We simply won’t take your case if we don’t feel we can reduce your taxes.

Where are you located?

Our offices are housed in the Galleria Officecentre in Southfield, Michigan.

How long does the appeal process take?

An appeal can take as much as 16 months from the March Board of Review until a refund check is dispersed. Most judgments take between 12 and 16 months.

Do I need to pay for an appraisal?

No. Nearly all of our cases go to hearing without the need for a separate appraisal fee. In the event we feel an appraisal is needed, you will be informed and options would be discussed.

Will I get a check back from the city?

Yes. As long as you are current on your property taxes you will receive a refund check for the amount that was over paid during the year of your challenge.

How will I know what is happening with my appeal?

Our primary method of contact with clients is email. We will send status updates as milestones are reached in your case. If you have questions at any point please feel free to call us and we would be happy to answer them.

Is there a volume discount?

No. is one of the lowest cost providers of property tax appeal services in Michigan. We work hard to keep our prices low so that everyone can afford to challenge their assessment.
